Sodium CarboxyMethy Cellulose (CMC)
Formula: [[C6H7O2(OH)3-n (OCH2COONa) n ] x
Characteristic : 燬odium carboxymethyl cellulose is white or yellowish powder that is odorless, tasteless and non-toxic. It has high hygroscopicity and is soluble in water to form thick liquid. It is a polyanionic electrolyte and is not fermented. It has good heat-stability, resistance to salt and film-forming characteristics. It is a strong emulsifier for fatty and oil.
Usage
The product is widely used in the industry of oil drilling, textile, food, construction, ceramics, and medicine as thickener, emulsifier, adhesive, excipient, protective colloid, etc.
